Paris ... When It Sizzles

The city of Julee's heart! Tuck the Michelin Red Guide and Pat Wells' Food Lover's Guide to Paris in your carry on. Once there, pick up a copy of "Pariscope" for current concerts and exhibitions. Then leave time to discover your own Paris!!

To telephone Paris from the U.S. dial 011331 and the local numbers listed here.

We always stay on the Left Bank (the 6th and 7th arrondissements). Generally we prefer small and quaint - 20-40 rooms. There are, however, two exceptions ...

Hotel Pavillon de la Reine - charming and in the Marais
28 Place des Vosges

The Ritz - just once in your life, go for it! Walk the halls at 3 a.m. - with great ghosts - Hemingway, Chanel, sigh! At least go for a drink! 15 Place Verdome

Hotel de l'Abbaye - our new home in Paris - lovely
10, rue Cassette

l'Hotel l'Hotel - our old home away from home. Now trés chic and chêre. Stop for a drink.
13 rue des Beaux Arts

Hotel Bel Ami - when l'Abbaye is booked, this is our retreat.
7-11 rue St. Benoit
