It’s The Best Time For Romantic Getaways In Michigan At Wickwood
The season of our White Winter Wonderland and crystal clear nights with ickety billion stars. A season of cross country skiing, snow sculptures, skating and sliding down dunes on old cardboard boxes. Huge snowflakes blanket from lake effect snow as we scurry from a Wine Tasting at The Petter Wine Gallery to Virtue Cider to dancing the night away at the Salt of the Earth over Valentine’s Weekend. Romance is in the air and it’s contagious.
Cozy gooey Panini’s, bread pudding, warm homemade Sticky Buns and oozing Caramelized Onion Dip warm the cockles of our hearts after the always wonderful Fat Tuesday Parade. There’s the smell of pine, art gallery stroll, Maureen McGovern at the SCA, reading by the fireside, lingering massages, seed catalogues, hot chocolate, warm Popovers and talking uninterrupted late into the night.
We’ve created a getaway guide with some local favorites, suggested stops and insider secrets to help you love life like a local. Use our tips as you will, but let your imagination be your guide!
