Mamma Mia! | June 22 – July 15

“The sunny, funny tale unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter’s quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.

The story-telling magic of ABBA’s timeless songs propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter, and friendship, creating an unforgettable show. A large cast, non-stop laughs and explosive dance numbers combine to make Mamma Mia! a guaranteed smash hit for any theatre.”

“Mamma Mia! leaves you uplifted, enraptured, and like a number one.”
~ Entertainment Weekly

Dixie’s | Never Wear A Tube Top While Riding A Mechanical Bull and 10 Other Things I Learned While Drinking Last Thursday | July 25 – August 5

“Dixie Longate, known for her hilarious antics in the wildly popular Dixie’s Tupperware Party, returns to Mason Street Warehouse at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts. In her new hit show Never Wear a Tubetop, Ms. Longate will have audiences reeling with non-stop laughter. Put on your cowboy boots and walk into Dixie’s favorite honkytonk as she shares lessons learned after a hard night of drinking. What do a jeweled crown, a cardboard cutout of Julie Andrews and a box of moon pies have in common? Spend the night with Dixie and find out as she swaps her Tupperware bowls for a mechanical bull.”

“Furiously funny! A smartly written ‘Hoot and Holler’ of a show.”
~ Denver Post

Once | August 17 – September 2

“Winner of 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Once is a truly original theatrical experience, featuring an impressive ensemble of actor/ musicians who play their own instruments on stage.

Once tells the enchanting tale of a Dublin street musician about to give up on his dream when a young woman takes an interest in his haunting love songs. As their chemistry grows, his music soars, and their unlikely connection turns out to be deeper than your everyday romance. Emotionally captivating and theatrically breathtaking, Once draws you in from the very first note and never lets you go.”

“Impeccable. A rhapsodic, unique musical that’s tender, funny, and soaring.”

2018 Main Stage Summer Concert Season

The Capitol Steps | July 2

“They put the “mock” in Democracy … and they’re back at the SCA! Don’t miss this one-night only engagement with plenty of fireworks as The Capitol Steps focus their hilarious antics on both sides of the aisle.”

Well-Strung | July 19 & 20

“WellStrung is a string quartet with a modern twist – playing universally recognized classical pieces while singing music hits from the likes of Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and other pop stars,  New York-based members Edmund Bagnell (first violin), Christopher Marchant (second violin), Daniel Shevlin (cello) and Trevor Wadleigh (viola) derive their unique blend of vocals and strings by fusing classical music with the music of today for a wildly engaging and unique experience”

“A talented quartet of men who sing and play instruments … brilliantly fuses pop and classical music from Madonna to Beethoven.”
The New York Times

Paula Poundstone | August 9

“With smart, observational humor and a legendary spontaneous interaction with the crowd, Paula Poundstone is one of our country’s pre-eminent comedians. She improvises with a crowd like a Jazz musician, swinging in unexpected directions without a plan, without a net. There’s a disarming ease in her craft, an immediate sense that she’s so quick on her feet you need never worry about the possibility of something going wrong.”
