Farm to Table Breakfast

We start the day with a full homemade country breakfast. The 3 course menu changes with each season, but it may include our Four Berry Bowl, Citrus Slices drizzled with mint honey, Sugar & Spice Popovers, Pecan Sticky Buns, Blueberry Streusel Coffee Cake, Asparagus & Chèvre Frittata, Glazed Apple Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce, Raspberry Bismarcks, Ethereal Scrambled Eggs, Glazed Country Ham, or Pistachio Breakfast Sausage. Additionally, there are always house-made granolas, artisan breads, yogurt, fruit juices, coffees and teas.

We like to give you reason to pause for a little sweet through the day. Inside the glass globes by the fireside, you may find warm Chocolate Chip Cookies, Razzle Dazzle Raspberry Cake, Brownie Bites or Chocolate Almond Bark.

Evening Sips & Small Plates

Every evening at 6:00 we gather together for Sips & Small Plates. We love the cheer and camaraderie of sharing good food and wine for an hour together at the start of an evening. We pour you a glass of wine and present a dazzling array of flavors. Our Charcuterie Board is filled with our own house made cheeses, our chutney, herbed olives, and hand-crafted salumis. There are Soup Shots and Mustard Cheese Straws surrounded by plates of Shrimp & Crab or Fava Bean & Mint Crostini, Roasted Tomato & Basil Tart, Maple Glazed Brussel Sprouts or Zucchini Frites.

Wickwood Inn’s signature amenity is our extensive menu. It makes perfect sense given Julee’s long cooking career and five award winning cookbooks. Good food is simply in Wickwood’s genes. We like that it brings about conviviality seasoned with a dash of laughter.

Every day our menu changes. It is seasonal, market-inspired, and highlights our network of small growers and artisan food producers of our surrounding Lake Michigan countryside. We take care in preparing those ingredients with the goal of magnifying their natural flavors to the optimum. We aim for the taste of WOW!

Each night spent at Wickwood is celebrated with our signature complimentary good food. We feel that eating well is a very important part of a getaway.
