Afternoon Sweets

Gather
Social Hour
At our warm nightly gathering, a locally sourced charcuterie board overflows with sheets of prosciutto, cheeses, and fresh fruit, while the inn’s library and living room overflow with pleasant conversation. It’s a sublime backdrop for meeting and mingling with fellow travelers.
New American Breakfast
Chef Rose Duong’s soulful menu reflects western Michigan’s bounty of local ingredients and vibrant seasons. Whether you opt for creamy avocado toast on locally sourced bread, lemon pancakes dappled with crème anglaise sauce, or asparagus hollandaise benedict with prosciutto, our healthy breakfast is inspired by the rustic and dynamic setting.Executive Chef
Rose Duong
As executive chef since 2022, Duong leads the Wickwood’s kitchen with a singular vision: to echo the inn’s beautiful surroundings with a focus on quality and presentation. A veteran of Chicago’s restaurant scene, Duong made a name for herself at the Kingsbury Street Café, a beloved breakfast / lunch spot in the Clybourn Corridor. Her resume also includes long stints with Soucie Horner’s events team and at Harpo Studios, where she provided catering in the green room of the Oprah Winfrey Show.

Incredible hosts! — “The inn is in the heart of Saugatuck, walking distance to everything. The recent renovations were luxurious yet felt cozy and familiar. We loved the social hour where we mingled and got to know with other guests. The general manager took care of everything including making dinner reservations at a special place (Coast 236) for our anniversary. We cannot wait to return.”
