Our Policies
We want you to be comfortable at the Wickwood Inn. Our policies, amenities, and services are meant to make your stay as social or private as you wish. In developing our policies, we tried to anticipate all of your needs. For example, you’ll find local maps for winery tours, antiquing, art galleries, beach and woods walks, cross-country skiing, and information on all current events. Allow us to attend to the details in the background while you relax, reconnect, and treat yourself.
Our nightly rates are based on double occupancy and include:
- A farm-to-table breakfast is served at 8 – 10am
- Afternoon Sweets & Evening Social Hour
- En Suite Bathroom
- Complimentary private parking
- No televisions available
- High speed WiFi
- Check-in is between 4 – 9pm. Please confirm specific arrival time via email.
- Check-out is at 11am
Reservations
Reservations may be made directly online or by calling the inn at (269) 857-1465. All room rates are confirmed at the time of reservation with a written confirmation emailed to your preferred email address.
Minimum Night Stays
A two-night minimum is required for all Saturday night bookings, holidays and special event weekends.
Room Occupancy and Taxes
Our lodging rates are based on double occupancy with a maximum of two guests per room and rates may vary at any time prior to booking. Michigan State sales tax of 6% and lodging tax of 5% are added to all room rates.
Deposit and Balance Payments
Reservations require a one-night deposit or 50% deposit of the entire reservation for multiple-night stays. Deposits are processed the same day you make your reservation. The balance will be charged to the credit card on file 14 days prior to arrival.
Acceptable Forms of Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express and must always have a valid credit card number on file. Gift certificates are considered a form of payment. If you have a gift certificate, please call the inn between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. EST to make your reservation. (269) 857-1465
Cancellations
Due to the small size of our property, cancellations affect us significantly. For any individual cancellation or change of date, please contact us 15 days prior to arrival by telephone for a refund of your deposit, less a $50.00 per room cancellation fee.
If a full or partial cancellation or change of dates is made within 15 days, regardless of reason, you are financially responsible for the entire reservation, unless we can re-book your room for the entire booked stay.
All group bookings require a 30-day notice to cancel, change dates, or length of stay, less the $50 per room cancellation fee.
We encourage the purchase of travel insurance to provide reimbursement due to personal health issues, family emergencies, or travel delays.
Children Policy
Children over 16 are welcome to stay with their parents. Please note our maximum occupancy per room is two guests.
Pet Policy
While we are pet lovers, we do not allow pets to visit or stay overnight at the Wickwood Inn.
Check-In
Check-in is between 4 – 9 p.m. Please confirm specific arrival time via email if possible or respond to reminder email 48 priors to arrival. If you arrive before check-in time, you are welcome to park in our private parking lot. If you plan on arriving after 9:00 p.m., please call (269) 857-1465 in advance for special arrangements.
Check-Out
Check-out is at 11 a.m. If you want to enjoy your last day in Saugatuck, we are happy to have you utilize our parking lot until 3 p.m.

Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger
The Wickwood Inn is committed to providing convenient and sustainable amenities for our guests. The following policy outlines the use of our EV charging station to ensure fair access and efficient management of our charging infrastructure.
1. Eligibility and Priority:
• EV charging station is reserved for registered guests of the Wickwood Inn.
• Priority access is granted on a first-come-first-served basis.
2. Charging Fees:
• EV chargers are $25.00 per use for registered guests of the Wickwood Inn.
• Non-guests are not permitted to use the charging stations.
3. Charging Duration:
• Charging sessions are limited to a maximum of 12hrs to accommodate all guests' needs.
• Guests are expected to promptly move their vehicles once charging is complete to allow others to utilize the stations.
4. Reservations and Prioritization:
• Reservations for charging sessions are not accepted to maintain fairness among guests.
• During peak periods, guests may be asked to limit their charging duration to ensure equitable access for all.
5. Code of Conduct:
• Guests are expected to follow all posted instructions and guidelines for using the EV chargers.
• Vehicles must be parked in designated charging spaces only while actively charging.
• Tampering with or misusing charging equipment is strictly prohibited.
6. Reporting Issues:
• Guests encountering any technical issues or malfunctions with the EV chargers should promptly report them to the general manager.
7. Liability and Disclaimer:
• Use of the EV chargers is at the sole risk of the user.
• Our establishment is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from the use of the charging stations.
8. Policy Updates:
• This EV charger policy may be updated or revised as needed. Guests will be informed of any changes in advance.
